A key adviser to Project ADR in Project Risk, Construction Dispute Avoidance & Resolution and Public Consultation Bill Morrissey is an experienced project manager, civil engineer, and physical planner by profession, dual qualified with a Masters in Construction law and a Fellow of the CIArb.
In addition to being a specialist in construction contracts and claims, he also specialises in project delivery and recovery often acting as project mentor to PMOs. Recognised as an expert in project stakeholder management he works alongside project teams in matters of strategy, negotiations and development in all aspects of construction, housing, infrastructure, transport and industry.
Bill has four decades of practical experience (about half with contractor / subcontractor and half with designer / developer) in project delivery and is regularly appointed either as project mentor / specialist advisor or as impartial adjudicator, conciliator, arbitrator, mediator and expert in construction disputes. Also represents parties in preparation of referrals, responses and support in advocating or defending contract claims or final accounts.

He is a member of various dispute resolution panels: Engineers Ireland, MII and CIArb and sits on the Committee of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators-Irish Branch and the Adjudication Society. He is currently national Chairman of the CIArb Special Interest Group on Project Mediation & Dispute Avoidance.
The Project ADR team has an in depth knowledge of all standard form contracts and sub-contracts and has extensive experience of ad-hoc contracts and sub-contracts including the PWC suite of contracts and FIDIC and NEC suites.
He has accumulated broad experience over four decades in the construction aspects of commercial property transactions, energy, transport and infrastructure projects and on procurement strategy – including construction administration advice including dispute management and resolution, having published awards and resolved numerous construction, commercial, community and environmental disputes.
